Class Placements for 2014-2015
In May, the Wellesley staff will be placing students into new classes for the fall. We have a special team process for class lists involving the teachers, special education, administration, and the ESL teacher. The students are placed according to a number of criteria so that classes are balanced. Please remember that when we place students, we will be using our professional judgment related to all the information and data available to us. Please be assured that we have the best interests of all students in mind.

Sometimes parents like to offer input about class placements of students. If you feel you need to provide some input that is related to the needs of your own child, please do so in writing by April 22nd, 2014. Any letters received after this deadline will not be considered because it will be too late in the process. Letters are not kept from year to year. As a result, please re-submit a letter if you feel it would be beneficial with class placements this year.

Please note that requests for the following will not be considered:
1. Specific teacher requests
2. Negative comments about staff.

Please send your notes in a sealed envelope labeled ‘Class Placement Input’. Letters need to be submitted to Mr. Morgan by April 22nd, 2014.
