On behalf of the staff at Wellesley P.S., I would like to express my thanks to all parents and students for a great start to 2014-15! It has been a very busy and exciting 2 weeks at Wellesley! The students keep coming and our school population is now 748 students…26 more than last year!
We have 19 new staff members and they have done a great job, along with the other 46 staff members, preparing for another school year.
Thanks:
– for your assistance in keeping our parking lot safe. We have closed our parking lot for student pick up and drop off up this year. I am very pleased with the support and co-operation of parents/guardians so far. Cars have not been using the parking lot and the buses are able to get in and out of the lot in a safe manner. Please continue to drive safely as you find other areas in which to park. It is great to see so many students walking, riding bikes, or using scooters to get to school!
– for the great turn out at our Meet the Teacher evening…it was great to see so many of you!
– to the parents/guardians of our kindergarten students for your patience with our new procedures for getting the students in and out of school. Everything has gone well and we are getting quicker at getting all 155 of these students inside in the morning.
– to the amazing staff who have worked so hard to get the school ready for another year!
