On Friday, February 27th, 2015 sixteen students from Wellesley traveled to the WRDSB Elementary Science and Technology Skills Competition. Students competed in Lego robotics, Lego mechanics, construction, and video editing. The Lego robotics team, consisting of Tim Zwart, Cameron Ramer, Sarah Rath, and Liam Robertson, earned a bronze medal by successfully programming their robot to shoot a basketball into a net. Jacqueline Bender and Noelle Marshall’s video on bullying earned them a gold medal in the video editing challenge. Congratulations to all the participants!
