As the ground freezes around Ontario, the resilient ground cover that the Board installed to comply with the CSA standards will no longer provide the protection required by CSA Standards. Consequently, play structures will be off limits to students when the ground is frozen. As of Monday November 23, and continuing until approximately the end of March, our 3 creative playgrounds will be closed for student use. Students have also been informed that the playgrounds are closed. (please note…the kindergarten playground will remain open since students are not climbing or sliding on this playground.)

Although we are not responsible for your child’s safety after school hours or on the weekend, we would encourage you to respect the closure, so as to prevent any unnecessary injuries.
